Trend estates often contain a mixture of IQ2, IQ3, IQ4 and newer controllers, several LANs, legacy I/O, older graphics and years of changes made by different engineers. A useful review starts by mapping the existing system and understanding which parts must remain operational during any upgrade.
I can support strategy checks, controller replacement planning, point and I/O mapping, graphics, schedules, setpoints, alarms, trend logs, communications and handover information. Where a migration is proposed, the aim is to identify dependencies and test stages before controllers are removed.

What must remain live?
Identify critical plant, frost and safety sequences, occupancy requirements and the permitted outage or change window.
What can be reused safely?
Assess sensors, actuators, panel space, power supplies, network cabling and legacy modules before assuming a full replacement is required.
How will it be witnessed?
Define point checks, sequence testing, alarms, trends, graphics and sign-off evidence so the upgrade has a clear completion standard.
